America, the Melting Pot

The video below is very funny, but also somewhat disturbing reflection of recent American history and our new place in the world. Our country has not always been known for its good-doing, but there was once a sense of respect that people all over the world had for our country.

Putting it in perspective
In 1994 I traveled to Canada and recall hearing things like “Americans think they are special, but we have a great country too and its so much better than the United States because…” Its clear we’ve never been well loved, even by our neighbors. However, it was a different kind of relationship before Bush became president, and if anything there was some love-hate thing going; envy can be a strong motive for hate.
Let me try a language that even President Bush can understand:
Under Ronald Reagan and George Bush Sr We were regarded as an elitist, arrogant, snotty and high maintenance bitch that was never satisfied and always hungering for more wealth and fame.
President Clinton helped us gain more of a a reputation akin to the girl next door who was perfect, went to church every Sunday, helped build a community around her, then went to Harvard where she turned into a conniving young know-it-all. That is until the pressure of always being right and loved overwhelmed her and pushed her to the brink of suicide! (waves at Monica)
Recall, many Republicans believed that Bill Clinton lived and died by his following of the American public opinion polls, and did whatever the most popular thing to do was, not necessarily the right thing. Oddly enough, the general public loved him for it!
Enter George W. Bush
Today, the United States is regarded as the arrogant, evil, dumb and obnoxious slut that everyone hates and the only way she is getting laid is through some angry and violent sexual role play which requires little from the imagination of the lover.
What we know about President Bush is he never reads polls, some suggest he doesn’t know how to read! He made his way to the top using daddy’s coattails and once he got there he didn’t have the slightest idea what to do. he is the prime definition of a slacker and because he didn’t do his homework and relied on his gut instinct and God to make decisions for him, America is now entangled in the middle east for years to come, maybe even decades.
2008 Presidential Campaigns
Who will be next, how will America be remembered after the next President takes an oath to uphold the constitution and do what is right for America?
Stay tuned…
