Jerry Falwell and his influence on Evangelical Christians and America
Here are some lessons to learn from the man who had an answer for everything! This is intended to be in good fun, please no hate mail, thanks!
Lesson #1 If you are a faithful Christian, let God do the judging. You should read your bible, goto church and be good but please don’t force your views on others by manipulating God’s Word, preying on others and exploiting psychology, anxiety, and fear!
Bible Reference: “Judge Not, Lest Ye Be Judged”
Used some of MSNBC’s Cagle’s works, you can see more of it here.
Ahh, damnit God.. why didn’t you tell me you were a gay purple alien!

Judgment day has arrived for Jerry Falwell, please alert Satan of the news

Sometimes its better to just keep your mouth shut
Lesson #2
Don’t screw with freedom of speech, God supports pornography and the right of men to view naked women in sexually explicit and compromising positions!
Biblical Reference:
1 Peter 2:13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men.
Anyone remember Larry Flynt of Hustler Magazine and the freedom of speech case of the early 80s? Here’s a wiki link in case you’re interested. Also, you can read the case here if you are a complete nerd, and if you are reading this site, there is a good chance you are! Hustler Magazine v. Jerry Falwell, legal opinion
“it’s like this Mark Foley thing — that’s not going to discourage any evangelicals I know from voting. We lived through Bill Clinton, and this situation with Foley is minuscule in comparison. So, I really think it’s making a mountain out of a molehill. ” Full CNN transcript, for context.
Lesson #3 If you preach the word of God, please don’t be a hypocrite! If you say others should be good, then follow your own advice!
Bible Reference:
James 2:14-17 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? . . . Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

FYI: Jerry Falwell was not a fan of homosexuals, he blamed gay people for 9/11 (also a fear tactic), he blamed gay people for aids (more fear) until scientific discovery proved that AIDS was not a disease exclusive to gay people! He adapted to the information and liked to preach and say that God was punishing society for allowing homosexuality, for our laws, our gay-accepting liberals would pay the price!

Of course, if you pray to God and become an evangelical Christian, you don’t have to worry! *wink, wink* Below are some parting words, figure I’d kick a man while he’s down, since everyone else is doing it! Besides, it would be wrong not to dishonor the man who took pride in pissing on peoples graves behind the authority of the Bible.

Parting bible verse: “Let He Who is Without Sin Cast the First Stone”

look i know you said this is in all fun. Well im sorry if i take offense to that. I know what is right and i am no fool. You will defanitly mislead people by this and make them think what your saying is true. God does not agree with pornography, homosexuality, or any of that kind of sin. Yes sin, if it offense you im sorry but that is what the bible says. God HATES sin, but he LOVES sinners. In John 3:16 it says “for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotton son that whosoever believeth in him will not perish but have everlasting life.” God loves all of his creation and dosent want any of us to go to hell. Yes we have all sinned and we all deserve to go to hell but God sent his son Jesus to pay the penalty for us. Im writing this to remind you that yes judging is wrong. Hating sin isnt. I hate the fact some people forget to hate sin but love sinners. Jesus loves you and is waiting for you to accept him.
Jerry Falwell is so often mis understood and his words are often twisted out of context to make him look horrible, the next time somone quotes Jerry Falwell they should pay close attention to what he is talking about and not just pull segments or quotes out from him because then can be very vague when standing alone.
you are all fucking stupid, you shouldn’t believe in what is wrong but instead what is right. you’re so caught up in what you believe other people are doing wrong you forget to mind your own damn business and end up saying and doing things that have nothing to do with you and will never affect you in any way. like the government taxes you on every homosexual couple in the United States or that for every abortion someone comes to your house and kills one of your children, i think its just plain stupid!!!
