Terror Plot at JFK International Airport
Terror plot intended to set off fires by targeting fuel lines, tanks trucks at JFK — CNN reports this breaking story.

UPDATE:
The plot was initiated last summer, terror plot independent - not operating in concert with Al Qaeda said Pat D’Amuro, former assistant to FBI director.
The plan was to target a 40 mile fuel line from Linden, New Jersey to JFK international airport.
The press conference
Started off with a political message, explaining that the government has disrupted a terrorist attack and cell, it outlines the importance of the evidence collection that we’ve been able to collect through current federal law.
Federal charges were announced today, identifying terminal buildings, stores, and additional airport targets. Charged:
4 accused terrorists:
1. Mohammed - citizen of Indiana
2. a citizen of Trinidad

Four men have been charged with conspiring to attack John F. Kennedy International Airport by planting explosives to blow up jet fuel supply tanks and a pipeline, officials said.Homeland Security sources said there is no current threat at the airport and that the attack as planned was “not technically feasible.”
The alleged plot did not target airplane flights.
“Anytime you hit Kennedy, it is the most hurtful thing to the United States. To hit John F. Kennedy, wow…they love JFK — he’s like the man. If you hit that, this whole country will be in mourning. It’s like you can kill the man twice,” one of the suspects said during a recorded phone conversation, officials said.
The airport is named in honor of President John F. Kennedy
CNN interview with Pat D’Amuro, law enforcement officials want more access to information than they currently have, they want the national ID issue taken care of so that everyone can be monitored, claiming its part of our border identity crisis.
Liberty Crisis?
Civil Liberty groups are already furious with the laws in place, but D’Amuro suggested that the United States is behind some more sophisticated third world countries with respect to national security. Examples were not provided, but he said its a reality we have to learn to live with.
