RED ALERT - TERRORIST ATTACK

TERRORIST ATTACK DERAILED

You’ll probably see the above headline or a variation of that headline a number of times between now and the 2008 elections.

Politics of Terror, political intrigue, U.S. government terrorizes its citizens.

Its amazing how much a person can miss when the aftermath of 9/11 makes you so jaded that you can’t stomach another TV show or media account of the Bush administration, terrorism, conspiracy theory, etc.

Unfortunately, because our media is so competitive, you only get certain news if you watch regularly, like MSNBC for example.

March 13, 2006 MSNBC aired Keith Olbermann’s piece on government sponsored fear and the ‘logical fallacy’ - because B follows A does not mean they are related.

Nexus of Politics and Terror - about the United States President and appointed officers / Homeland security abusing or misusing our Alert Level system

Terrorism comes in many forms, my biggest fear is that our own government has become the biggest terrorist organization that threatens America and our constitution!

SAY NO TO BUSH, Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney

I’m sorry Republicans, but these men are trying to ride the BUSH train into the White House. If you’re going to choose a candidate from that school of thought, you do so at your own peril. John McCain is the only pro-War candidate I’d support on that side of the fence, and even though I’m not convinced because he is too uses the rhetoric of war to gain political favor among his voter base. Ron Paul, as many know I love and support on the conservative side and I know that he would NOT allow this kind of exploitation of fear to occur at the highest level of government.

Best and most sincere invocation of Ronald Reagan coming out of the Republican party.

He would sooner destroy the CIA and FBI, plow down the “Homeland Security” facade that keeps us from seeing the true terror that lies within our own American borders. Everyone is so caught up trying to keep “roaches” (thanks Ann Coulter) out of the country that they don’t see that the biggest threat to our own security is our own government.

Another man who believes the government is threatening the country, but is less skeptical about the process is Barack Obama

Barack Obama is probably the best all-around candidate based on “presidential” qualities, but his experience and connections are probably less so than other top tier candidates. Nevertheless, he is increasingly being seen as a threat to Hillary Clinton’s chance at the democratic nomination. If he can get Americans to see beneath his skin, there is a good chance that he may be our next President.

The problem is, will Americans say one thing in public “I’d like to see a black president” and do another in private (vote for Hillary Clinton, or –insert GOP candidate here–)

Regardless of who comes out victorious in 2008, the American people want a reversal of the fear tactics that have scared our country and citizens into submission.

I’m probably already wiretapped and all that good stuff, so don’t send me e-mails and notes about that shit, I’m way beyond that point already.

UPDATE:  Its amazing how right Keith Olbermann was.  Read this article I wrote a few weeks ago on “Scare Tactics, fear and terrorism.”
