Republicans turn on Gonzales, discrimination!

Ok, just kidding about the discrimination part. Alberto Gonzales, the U.S. Attorney General at the heart of the U.S. attorney firing scandal appears to be on his way out the door. He pulled a Mark Mcguire and Rafael Palmiero with the cryptic and uncooperative “I do not recall” replies to questions that might help the Senate decide on whether he is worthy of their vote of confidence.

Instead, as he was bending over and mooning investigators, while showing his true colors. What he really did was provide a bulls eye for them to give the smug attorney the boot. So long Alberto, only the 943348348th Bush administrator to find his way into trouble. Next? We’ll see where this leads, it should be quite entertaining during the next U.S. Attorney selection process.
