Did President Bush inadvertently admit using explosives on September 11?
The President made a speech It sounds like Bush was reading from a confidential memo that was not intended for the public. It appears as if there was some confusion when President Bush read off this sheet.
Considering I am probably one of the biggest enemies of our government’s overreaching authority, I have to say that I am in shock. Everything in my mind and body says, ‘it’s a fraud’, this can’t be real. It just can’t.
High Crimes and Misdemeanors?I’m still in shock, did I see what I think I just saw? What do you think?UPDATE #1: sorry to disappoint, apparently someone was being cute with video editing.
Here is the context from the WhiteHouse.gov site:
For example, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed described the design of planned attacks of buildings inside the U.S. and how operatives were directed to carry them out. That is valuable information for those of us who have the responsibility to protect the American people. He told us the operatives had been instructed to ensure that the explosives went off at a high — a point that was high enough to prevent people trapped above from escaping.
He gave us information that helped uncover al Qaeda cells’ efforts to obtain biological weapons.
This is a pretty important lesson anyway, for people who are quick to jump on the words of politicians or political activist groups that seek to control how people think. I had a gut instinct that it was incorrect, my gut was right.. but I was afraid, very very afraid.
Not all was lost, I personally learned something about myself and my fears, maybe? I couldn’t help but wonder if I’ve been subconsciously looking for “the smoking gun” or if the terrorist war rhetoric has indirectly raised my suspicions, heightened my anxiety, and desensitized me towards terrorism in general. It also reminded me of this video!
Thanks for this link, to the original White House article.
UPDATE #2
Received this for the people looking for ‘a smoking gun’
UPDATE #3 I’m not a conspiracy theorist, this is not a conspiracy theorist website, sorry to disappoint. I have strong opinions, I have strong words for Mr. Bush, nothing more or less. I strongly believe in the Constitution and I’m a big fan of the 1st amendment.

I don’t think you can take what he said that seriously because he’s such an idiot. Obviously the writer assumed there were additional explosives on the planes.
I don’t think that this speaks to explosives, ie bombs, planted in the towers. I imagine the context was something along the lines of: when al Qaeda was plotting the Sept. 11 attacks, the realized when they set off explosions in the buildings — however they were to do it, be it bombs or airliners: “explosives” in an abstract sense — they should be at a high point, as the president describes. Perhaps later they realized the most practical way for achieving said explosions was by crashing huge airplanes in the right places.
eh?
Well, going on pure instinct, on the morning off Sept. 11th. I made a statement to a spiritual forum that i belong to and it went something like this. “there is no doubt in my mind that the Bush administration was totally involved in bringing down those towers” And of course with the over whelming evidents that is now available, i know, without a doubt, that my instincts were and are correct. I just don’t understand why these thugs are still running this country, except for the conclusion that they have most of congress in their pockets along with our great court system.
What in God’s name are we waiting for? Marshall Law? I no longer am proud to be an American. If i had the where with all, i would be out of here in the blink of an eye because we are living under an administration that are the biggest terrorist on the planet. Be afraid! Be very afraid!
Interesting perspective, I agree on not being proud of our country right now because of who is in charge, but when 9/11 happened the last thing on my mind was some kind of conspiracy. Even now, despite some evidence, i have a hard time accepting that the President was aware of a potential threat but did nothing. My feel is he had no idea that the planes would be used against WTC and the pentagon, but I’m not an expert.
