5-4, the justices were split, but it looks like George Bush’s appointments are paying off for conservatives. Is this just the beginning or will we see more of this to come?
After the Bush conservative judge appointing spree(Alito, Roberts, and D.C. high courts), it was my opinion that within the next decade or so we’d see a reconsideration of Roe v. Wade. I’m a jaded citizen who believes that all of the law and politics are corruptible by the minds of men, power and greed. Now that the liberals have wrestled Washington away from conservatives domination, my theory may go untested. That is, until we find ourselves in another exploitable political war.
Maybe Iran or North Korea will help rattle our political system yet again, only time will tell.
