White House politics heat up this summer
The House Judiciary Committee, led by Democrats, says it will file a contempt of Congress charge if White House fails to respond to subpoenas on U.S. attorney firings by June 28. The committee warned that they would pursue the motion if the White House fails to respond to subpoenas for testimony and documents related to the firings of U.S. attorneys a year ago.
