Justice is served, Paris Hilton back to Jail

Justice is served

Thank you God, this could have been a crippling blow to the American legal system if the Sheriff’s decision had been upheld.  In fact, from what I understand its going to be even worse for Paris than her original sentence and all for the ability to take a night off after 3 whole days!

Paris gets her medication

She will take her treatment (yay Happy pills for the usually euphoric woman!)   At least they will help dull the numbness that will come after she serves a few days in jail.  Gotta love celebrity entertainment in America, drink and drive, break parole a few times, split up the nation on drama that wouldn’t be given a second thought if it was you sitting with that problem.

Sheriff Baca interviewed live on CNN

He is defending his actions, he mentioned that Paris Hilton was on medication when she went into the jail and did not mention her medication.  Sheriff Baca demands that the courts and city attorney’s office learn to cooperate with him (CNN).

He calls Paris Hilton’s deteriorating state as one that prompted this move, the scapegoat here is the “psychologist” who failed to tell the Sheriff about these medical issues.   A reporter asked if ‘he’ were in jail and didn’t have his meds would the Sheriff release him because he didn’t want to be in jail?  The Sheriff wasn’t thrilled with the tone but basically said, yeah.. thats not what I said.  NO there wasn’t any preferential treatment.

Sheriff Baca had also previously said he didn’t even know what Paris Hilton looked like until after he was informed of her arrest.
