Gang Rape, Gruesome Murder. Was justice served?

The Facts:

  1. 1 Brutal gang rape of a 16 year old Iraqi girl.
  2. 1 sister, mom and dad listening to this act of terror in their home.
  3. 1 Family is murdered by gun shots to their heads.  What was the purpose of the murder?  To remove any possibility of having the proper authorities notified, and the violators of the law prosecuted.
  4. 1 gang raped victim, defeated, helpless, 16 years young. Her last dying breaths spent under the sweat of an American monster, with a strong scent of alcohol on his breath, and his full weight upon her as he takes his turn in line.
  5. 1 raped victim’s body doused in gasoline and consumed by flames to remove all evidence of these gruesome acts of rape and murder.

The sentence:

100 years in jail to think it over.

One apologist’s words:

“I feel bad for the troops, they were put in a bad situation and war makes people do bad things, rape is wrong, but don’t you feel bad for the troops in this case?”

I feel bad for the victims, angry that our country and troops are associated with this case, and I do feel bad for the families of the troops who were involved in this massacre.  It isn’t fair to anyone involved, but in the end I feel bad for the dead teenage girl and her younger sister, mom and dad, so to the criminals I say: you reap what you sow, God have mercy on your souls.

Was justice served? Unfortunately, the victim and her family aren’t around to answer that question.  I’d say no, the murderers got off lightly and even if its in a cage (where murderous criminal rapists belong) they still get to live, breath, and feel the sun on their skin during exercise time.

They will get to see family members and friends on occasion and are eligible for parole in 10 years! Anyone still feel the soldiers got a raw deal?
