16-Year-Old Ruby Leigh Advances to the Next Round on NBC’s “The Voice”
Foley, Missouri – In an exciting turn of events, 16-year-old Ruby Leigh from Foley, Missouri has made it to the next round on NBC’s hit show, “The Voice.” As the Live Shows kick off, fans across the country now have the power to save their favorite artists from elimination through voting.
During Tuesday night’s show, Leigh wowed the audience with her rendition of the country ballad “You Lie,” originally sung by her coach and mentor Reba McEntire. The talented teenager’s emotional connection and powerful vocals impressed not only the audience but also her coach.
Voting took place after the performances, and it was revealed that Leigh would be moving on to the Top 9. As America’s vote narrowed down the Top 12 performers to eight, the four musicians with the lowest number of votes will compete for the “Instant Save” to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
Fans can continue to support Leigh by voting for her in upcoming episodes on December 11 and December 18. Voting windows will be open, and fans can vote through The Voice website or app with one vote per email address.
To celebrate Leigh’s success, a watch party was held at JP’s Hideout in Cottleville. Friends and fans gathered at the popular bar and restaurant to show their support during the live show. Leigh’s connection with JP’s Hideout goes beyond this watch party as her family has developed a close relationship with the owner, John Windfeldt, and his daughters. Leigh’s father had initially asked if his daughter could perform at the venue, creating a bond that has grown over time.
Leigh, who shares a close bond with her coach Reba McEntire, expressed her gratitude for the country superstar’s support. Reba often calls Leigh and has regular conversations with her, providing valuable guidance and mentorship.
If Leigh continues to progress in the competition, JP’s Hideout has promised to host another watch party for her loyal supporters. So be sure to stay tuned and keep voting to help this talented teenager achieve her dreams.
